Biographie:
Qaderi’s Father, Sultan Aziz Qaderi, was a political representative during the pre-communist era of Afghanistan. In 1983, the family fled to India, where he attended Sheerno Junior High. During this time, he developed an interest in music and took music lessons in Tabla and the Indian Harmonium.
In 1985, the family moved to the United States, settling in Los Angeles. Qaderi attended Costa Mesa High School and later continued his education at Orange Coast College.
Career
After initially performing only at private events, Habib Qaderi recorded his first album, Chadar-e-Gulnaar, which did not achieve significant success. His breakthrough came with his third album, Aros Gulha, which featured duets with the famous Iranian singer Leila Forouhar.
His next album, Golden Dream, turned Habib Qaderi into an overnight Afghan star, with the following albums solidifying his success.
